Community Campaign for a New Library in Silverdale

Kitsap Regional Library Foundation Board of Directors is raising money for Kitsap Regional Library Foundation

Community Campaign for a New Library in Silverdale · 12 January 2021

Help us raise funds for a new Library in Silverdale! Every gift makes a difference.

Story

Kitsap Regional Library is a cornerstone in our community, helping people of all ages build literacy skills, find jobs, access technology, research important topics, experience new ideas and get lost in wonderful stories. The Library also provides welcoming, safe spaces for us all to gather and engage with one another.

The Kitsap Regional Library Foundation's Board of Directors provides guidance and support for fundraising efforts for our Library. Our Board includes :

  • Brian P. Wicks, MD, President
  • Erik Fong, Vice President
  • Kathy Cocus, Past President
  • Kara Hops, Treasurer
  • Ann Vogel, Secretary
  • Carrie Eastman
  • Wendy Hampton
  • Ilys Hernandez
  • Adele LaCombe

We serve on the Board because we each have a story, some way we have been impacted by libraries and believe they are a critical asset to our community.

We have a real opportunity to create positive change for Kitsap with a new Library in Silverdale. Relocating the Library to the Central Kitsap High School campus makes for a great partnership that benefits students, families and community members of all ages.

Our Board has committed to raising $12,000 for the Community Campaign. We hope you will help us reach our goal by joining the Campaign and making your gift to the new Library in Silverdale today!

Thank you for you support.
