Kitt gave me 20 weeks of sunshine. My son was tragically taken from us due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at exactly 20 weeks old on 21/08/20. Approx 200 family’s are torn apart each year in the UK due to SIDS. The real cause is unknown.

I aim to raise awareness of SIDS and raise money for the Lullaby Trust in Kitt’s memory. This charity has been a huge support to me and my family. Monies raised would go towards support for other families  and research. LETS FUND RESEARCH to prevent more families being destroyed. 

So... I am going to run to my sons Memorial tree site each day for 10 days. 20km (Just under a half marathon) a day because he was 20 weeks old. For a total of 10 days to total 200km because around 200 babies in the UK die each year from SIDS. 

I will be leaving my house at 10am each day for a run starting on the 17th September. Each run will end back at my house.

On the final day Saturday the 26th September - I will lay out tables with leaflets, posters and items for sale to raise as much money and awareness as possible. Please come and attend the final day to donate / help in anyway you can.

I have been offered lots of support for this run event. So feel free to join me for any amount of distance. I’d love help with the running, whether that be people on bikes or helping with water stops.
