Story
In 2019 Neil Scott spectated at the Cookham Gravity Challenge. The event was brilliant and attracted over 5000 people. The Gravity Challenge is a race involving all shapes and sizes of carts racing down Cookham Dean Hill towards Cookham. This “racetrack” is 750m long with chicanes and a 30-meter gradual decline towards Cookham Village.
A small but great team of locals from Knowl Hill are building and entering a cart in the race in support of Cystic Fibrosis. We are meeting all of the costs of building and entering the cart ourselves so all donations will go straight to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. We would be so grateful for your support.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
