Exiger Cares Brainathon · 12 September 2015

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving personal donation page!

I will be participating in the Exiger Cares 2015 Brainathon to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer's disease through Friday, October 30thEvery dollar donated to the Exiger Cares Brainathon is transformed into 1 minute of brain training using the FitBrains app:

- I have committed to complete 180 minutes of brain training over the next five weeks.

- As a team, my colleagues at Exiger and I will complete 18,000 minutes, which equates to five weeks of full-time health aid care for a patient with Alzheimer's disease.

- These 18,000 minutes of brain training will help our team members to each reduce their chances of developing Alzheimer's disease, while collectively enabling us to raise at least $18,000 USD to combat this illness.

I have set my personal fundraising goal to $3,500 to increase the impact Exiger Cares will make to the Alzheimer's community

Please join me by making a donation in honor of our commitment to train the brain and to fight against this devastating disease -- no amount of money is too small! All funds raised go to the Alzheimer's Association of America in the US, Alzheimer's Society in the UK and the Hong Kong Alzheimer's Disease Association.

Thank you for your support for this important cause!

WHY ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE?
Alzheimer's disease affects more than 35 million people worldwide and is the sixth-leading cause of death in the US, where its care costs are predicted to rise from $200 billion to $1.1 trillion by 2050. The disease is the only one of the global top-ten leading causes of death that cannot currently be treated, prevented or slowed.
