Story
This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill.
On the morning of Sunday 9th April 2017, I will start pavement pounding in the Brighton Marathon. Hopefully finishing at some point the same day, definitely finishing at some point.
Jogging 4 miles the other day has already shown me just how much grit, luck and sheer bloody mindedness is required to get me through the additional 22.2 miles I'll be running that day. But people go through worse, and I can't forget that, which is why I am running on behalf of Target Ovarian Cancer and in memory of my beautiful friend, Sadie Rance.
Every single donation that comes in, every word of encouragement and every jelly baby handed to me on the way round will be gratefully and sincerely appreciated.

UPDATE:
I am also signed up to partake in Tough Mudder two weeks after the Brighton Marathon. Hoping extra punishment means extra chances of some sponsorship for this fantastic charity
