Over three days at the beginning of July a team of 25 of men and women from across Howden, Runcorn and Northampton are going to riding 325miles from Runcorn - Howden - Northampton - London in aid of Marie curie. This ride Is massive undertaking for our team of riders, some of whom had never ridden a road bike until the start of the year let alone ridden anywhere near 130 miles in a day.

The team have been devoting a serious amount of personal time preparing and training for the massive challenge in order to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy and worthwhile cause.

On a personal note, I am aiming to achieve a personal best (which is anything over 40 miles), and providing additional support (mopping brows, offering pearls of wisdom, motivational support and maybe cake), driving a back up vehicle for the rest of the challenge.
