Rather than cutting my hair quietly and for only my own personal reasons I would like to make it a gesture which raises funds for Scottish Women's Aid: So that I can help, in a small way, work which changes the lives of women, children and families affected by violence against women and, therefore, make a small contribution towards creating a more peaceful society where children can grow in nurturing environments and people can live without fear.
