I work in Manchester Royal Infirmary Emergency Department. Inevitably visits to such places can be emotionally upsetting at times for patients and loved ones. Staff too, are also not immune to the trauma they see and help treat.

We hope to provide furnishing and artworks in specific areas of the department which will encourage and enable relaxation and reflection at such difficult times.

Money for such facilities will come from charity funding  and events. I am going to attempt a solo cycle ride the length of the United Kingdom this July. A total of 1000 miles and I plan to do it in just 10 days.
