Macey has battled over a lot of hurdles since a very young age and many professionals have been involved with her for a number of years. After finally getting an MRI scan at the age of 10yrs old it was found she had Cerebellar Hypoplasia. 

Although Macey struggles with speech/language, co-ordination, low muscle tone and social awareness just to name a few, she remains a very determined, happy girl and is beyond excited to be taking part in the Disability Triathlon again this year!

Macey will be swimming, running and riding. 

Since starting at Percy Hedley school Macey has benefited massively thanks to the amazing professionals involved with her on a day to day basis, they really are blessing. She absolutely loves school now and has never been happier! 

Because they have completely changed our lives for the better and the fact they 100% depend on charity donations Macey decided she would like to give something back to her school and I couldn't be prouder.
