Story
I have just signed up to do the Great Women's 10k Glasgow 2017 on Sunday 4th June, in memory of my amazing Dad and brother, who both lost their lives to the awful disease LEUKAEMIA.
We lost my brother Bryan to Leukaemia aged 19 & then 8 years ago, my family was destroyed yet again, when Leukaemia suddenly struck my Dad and took his life, less than 2 months after diagnosis.
The difference we saw in treatment/technology that my Dad got in 2009, than when my Brother was treated in 1991 was phenomenal, showing us first hand that research works and our hope is that a cure is found so that no other family will have to suffer the loss that ours has due to this awful disease.
I would appreciate any support you can give, and your donations will most certainly inspire my training over the next few weeks.
