Story

Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page.

In November we will be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Mulanje in Malawi, to raise funds for WaterAid. We will be trekking over 5 days, up to 9 hours per day, in this beautiful country, described as the 'warm heart of Africa'.

WaterAid is Liberty Specialty Markets' charity partner and their vision is for everyone in the world to have access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene by 2030. We take safe water as an essential human right, but 10% of the world's population does not have access to it. One in three lacks adequate sanitation, and water related diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation cause over 2 million deaths a year. Education, livelihoods and quality of life also suffer.

We want to help WaterAid to help change people's lives for the better.

At the end of our trek we will have the opportunity to visit a WaterAid project in Salima to see first hand the work the charity is doing in Malawi and how the funds you donate can really make a difference to people's lives.

We appreciate any donations you can give.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
