Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Everyone thank you for taking the time to sponsor me it really means a lot. I have a neurological condition called tourette syndrome I have this full blown, which causes me to have involuntary complex motor and verbal tics along with adhd and ocd.  I find it really hard to cope with some days. Unfortunately I am one of the 10% of people who has corpolalia which is the swearing part the bit the media etc. Only shows. I also suffer from palilalia which is repeating the last words I say, corpraxia doing obscene gestures and echolalia I repeat words others say. My tics wax and wane and I only feel comfortable letting them all out at home. I suppress them all day which is really hard for me and hurts. I get really painful tics and I get really sore muscles and headaches. It can be upsetting and especially because people thinks it's a disability which is okay to laugh and joke about. It's not, so I will be doing fundraising so that I can try and raise awareness so maybe one day I can just be me and not have to hide my disability because one day maybe everyone will understand its no laughing matter.  Thank you Tyler xxx
