Lancing Fc U12s is raising money for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice

Lancing Fc U12s · 26 January 2021

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

As a group we are walking/running/cycling the amount of miles from Lancing football club to Turf Moor stadium and back which is over 600 miles either independently or in our bubbles adhering to government guidelines. Charities have been hit badly during this pandemic and we want to do all we can to raise money for Chestnut tree house and hopefully keep everyone fit for when we are able to return to grassroots football.

Chestnut Tree House is a children’s charity providing hospice care and community support for children and young people with life-shortening conditions. There are hundreds of children and young people in your local community who are unlikely to reach adulthood. And even more parents and family members who need care, help and support on their journey, as they do not know how long they will have together.Your help enables families to spend time together. Precious moments that give a lifetime of memories.
