Story
I am running many miles (at least 50!) in January to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust's work in Wales.
Having cancer as a teenager or young adult can be life changing. Every day in the UK 7 young people (aged 13-24) will be diagnosed with cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust works to ensure that no young person faces cancer alone. Wales has just one specialist unit where young people can be treated alongside people their own age by professionals who are trained in adolescent cancer.
COVID-19 has affected fundraising efforts and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Due to being unable to host events like we usually do I would love to raise at least £1,000 in January. If I can raise more than this I would be over the moon.
The money raised will go to the charity's work in Wales.
