We are The Largactyl Shuffle, a volunteer group from CoolTan Arts the mental health & arts charity in Southwark!! We create fascinating walks that include talks about historic Southwark by researching local history, the arts and issues of mental health.

Join us for a fun, guided, stigma busting cultural walk and celebrate World Mental Health Day. By taking part, or by sponsoring our walkers, you will help raise much needed funds for CoolTan Arts - enabling to continue supporting people with mental distress.

The walk is on Saturday 12th October 2013, starting at 11.30am at the Maudsley Hospital and finishing on the South Bank.

This year’s theme is ‘Stayin’ Alive’ - exploring the idea of hope. As we walk the route together we will share what inspires us and makes life worth living through talks, discussion, performance and art!  

The 4.8-mile route is suitable for people with disabilities and wheelchair users. You can do as much or as little as you like.

A guided cultural walk that aims to enhance mental and physical wellbeing, CoolTan Arts’s Largactyl Shuffle uses art, history and humour to destigmatise mental distress.

Registration Fee

The walk registration fee is £5 unwaged £10 waged. Please note this fee is non-refundable.
