I'm taking on an extreme wilderness challenge to raise funds to support the amazing work of Love Support Unite. 

Starting with a solo, timed, navigation trek at 5,000 feet I will snow shoe across the 2,000-year-old frozen wilderness. The start point is only accessible by helicopter or snow mobile. Once I reach the summit of the Folgefonna Glacier Ski Resort I will be switching to snowboard to take on a downhill race, with a twist. Switching to mountain bike to continue the descent on technical, hairpins and sheer drop mountain roads for an 19km ride to the shore. The final leg is by sea kayak, hugging the coastline of Hardanger Fjord to the finish line.

The Charity

Love Support Unite is a dynamic, grass roots charity changing lives everyday through sustainable development, they partner with communities in Malawi to break the cycle of poverty with a leg-up rather than a hand-out. They bring about lasting and measurable change through holistic development. Their Foundations For The Future Model takes a holistic approach to tackling the challenge of poverty. They integrate education, enterprise, nutrition, health, clean water and energy, in community-owned projects which creates self sufficiency. In this way, whole community is empowered.
