Story

As one of the volunteer trustees for Little Edi Foundation, I have been able to see firsthand the difference your donations are making. We have found a new area of Moldova that is in desperate need of support, aid and care. After travelling to Romania for the third time with the Youth Project, I am even more inspired to raise money to help children and families suffering in poverty. As a registered charity run solely by volunteers, we rely heavily on the generosity of volunteers and donators. We are currently running 2 major projects. The Shoebox Project works in the UK with local schools, nurseries and community groups to wrap, pack and send up to 1000 shoeboxes to the very poorest children of Romania and Moldova. The Youth Project Scheme funds grants for young people living in Essex from underprivileged backgrounds to travel to Romania or Moldova to distribute aid, including food, educational supplies and clothing. Thank you for your ongoing support!

About the charity

The Little Edi Foundation is an Essex based non-profit where children and young people are at the heart of the organisation. We believe all children should have equal access to education and learning development, enabling them to reach their full potential by volunteering here in the UK and overseas
