Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
There are many activities to raise money and I have participated in a few, but to receive an email that asked if I wanted to raise money while learning to dance, I seen this as a great opportunity. Strictly Come Dancing has engaged the nation in dance and by watching the program we learn just how difficult it is to learn to dance. I now understand what is meant by that statement! However this event provides a great evening of entertainment to raise money for this great charity that has been serving Glasgow residents for many years.
I am fundraising for this charity because the people who run the hospice work tirelessly to provide the best care and I have heard so many good things from family members. The hospice has listened to provide the best palliative care for residents and support for their families in their new hospice building st Bellahouston. Whether it is the special space created to talk and council children who will lose parents, or I can barely say this without it bringing tears to my eyes, the death of a child, or the young couple who want to marry in the shortest of vows ‘until death us do part’. I don’t know these people and you will probably not either, but I know that we all want to help provide funding to support an environment that cares in your darkest hour.
