3 years ago when I was keen and naieve  I agreed to take part in the LCW! 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle, 26mile run! Now with a few more grey hairs and more achy limbs the time has come! To say I’m scared is an understatement’! But if I can do this and raise some money for Molly Ollys’s Wishes along the way, It will be worth it! #bemorecharles 

Molly Olly’s Wishes give gifts to children who have life-threatening illnesses to provide emotional support and help make their dark days brighter. Children and families can apply to us for something which they wish to have to support their journey. We have also developed a therapeutic toy lion Olly The Brave and a series of six story books about Olly’s experiences including diagnosis and treatment. We donate these to both children directly and to hospitals throughout the UK. In addition, we hold support events for families of children with seriously illnesses, and carry out bespoke projects working with the NHS.

We work with every child and family individually to ensure that the support we provide, whether it be a wish or giving Olly The Brave and his story books, is appropriate to their situation. Our own experience helps us empathise and we understand that those we help are going through extremely challenging times. We are always striving to help as many as possible, and to find new ways that we can make the dark days a little brighter for these children and their families.
