Story
As you all know by now, my mum, Yvette, died at the age of 56 of breast cancer. Over the years, I've done various fundraising activities in memory of her, from shaving my hair off to the race for life.
In the 14 years that mum has been gone, she's missed out on so much, not only in her own life but the lives of the family and friends she left behind. This year I turn 40 and get married and she won't be there. So, to celebrate her memory I'd like to do the only useful thing I can think of, which is to raise money that will help other people dealing with the effects of cancer. Macmillan supported mum before she died so when I saw the hike along the Norfolk coast (a place she loved) I knew she'd approve.
I realise times are really hard but even a couple of quid will make the difference. Thank you.
