Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This July I am running the London 10k with one of my closest friends Ellie Hambly. Before I met Ellie, I didn't know much about multiple sclerosis. Ellie's Dad John lives with multiple sclerosis, a long term condition where the central nervous system is attacked and permanently damaged. People living with the disease can experience difficulty with movement, balance, co-ordination, as well as communicating and learning.
Keen to make a difference in the lives of MS sufferers, John set up the Samson Centre. The Samson Centre is a very special environment! The centre offers physiotherapy, exercise, and gym sessions to people living with MS, all of which are hugely important in order to maintain mobility. The centre also provides an environment where people can share their knowledge and be around others who may have had similar experiences which is hugely comforting for families who live with this condition every day.
Fundraising for The Samson Centre is paramount, in order to continue to provide practical help to people living with multiple sclerosis. The work that this special place does really does make a HUGE difference to peoples lives! I feel so privileged that I am running for such a special charity that is so close to one of my best friends heart.
Big or small, any donation is so so appreciated!! Thank you :)
