Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you may know, Jake Cathcart had life saving surgery at Great Ormond Street in London last year. During this time his mum and dad (Claire and Neil Cathcart) were able to stay at The Sick Children's Trust so that they could be near to their brave little boy. They are raising money to reimburse the charity for the money that is would have cost (which is loads!)

Now we aren't marathon runners or bungee jumpers but we are hoping to raise some money by giving up one of the things we love the most for a whole month -CHOCOLATE!!! that means absolutely no chocolate bars, no chocolate cake, no choccy biscuits with our brew, not even any chocolate sprinkles on our cappuccino are allowed. And that’s why we need your help!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted e-mails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.
