8 years ago I was given the devastating news that I had secondary Breast Cancer. As you can imagine my world turned upside down. But the staff at the Royal Marsden gathered Alistair and I up and took us under their Wing. Then a few years later Maggies at the Marsden was built, and Bryn and his fabulous team have been a wonderfully supportive part of life ever since. The calm atmosphere at Maggies and the beautiful space allows  me to digest news and talk it through. Plus it’s a safe and relaxing place for family when not in a pandemic.

On Saturday 12th June our family, and many families across the country will be walking 5k in support of Maggies centres.
