In memory of my amazing Grandma

My name is Laura and my Grandma, Kathleen was an amazing woman. She sadly passed away due to bowel cancer which she had fought for so long. I am setting up this page just for small donations in her memory. I am also passionate about writing poems for different occassions and would like to offer my services to anyone who would like me to write one for them. All I ask in return is a donation on this page. Below is a poem all about my Grandma...
The smile on her face when you walked through the door
Her cuddles so tight she couldn't squeeze any more
The heating on full so you worked up a sweat
The most kind and thoughtful person you had ever met.
Ovaltine, homemade chips and smacks
Currant cake, wafers and pataks curry wraps.
Her toffee tin full with lots of sweets
Taking time to decide the perfect treat.
Taking us to school, singing to tapes
Shaking the green tub to make yummy milkshakes
Coming to watch us in our school plays
Learning to swim on hot holidays
Not being shy of a camera phone lens
Using sheets on the line to make cosy dens
Throwing balls on the roof and getting them back
Being the rock and supporter of our Grandad Jack
Giving us a whack if we gave her some cheek
Playing bingo in the centre every single week.
We would sit in the back and watch the bonus ball
Then we would announce the winner in the main hall
Her great love of children and playing peek a boo
Until she got lost and played hide and seek too
Watching pingu, giggling out loud
Always having a smile every time we went round.
We were always treated to a bedtime treat
And you could never refuse something to eat
She loved a Lily O'Brien's selection box
And always curled her lovely silver locks
She showed us all just how strong
She had become and proved us all wrong
Now she has gone with the angels for a well deserved rest
Goodnight Grandma, mwah and god bless.
