We help the poorest children in Nepal to have brighter safer futures

Story

On 14th October, we (Clare, Amelia and Laura) will be crossing the Manchester Half Marathon off our lists to raise funds for Kidasha, a UK registered charity which supports children living in crisis and poverty in Nepal. In one of the poorest countries in the world, 1 in 4 Nepalese people live on less than $0.50 a day. Kidasha focusses on children who are beyond the reach of existing services and support - children and families living in chronic poverty, child victims of neglect, abuse, trafficking and exploitation, and children out of family care, particularly street and working children.

Kidasha's work enables the poorest and most forgotten children in Nepal to fulfil their potential by improving their wellbeing, supporting their development and reducing the impact of discrimination and social injustice.

The prospect of running 13.1 miles is terrifying but knowing that we are raising money for this important charity will get us through it!
