Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Along with some friends and my fabulous sister in laws, Sue and Helen, I am “running” (anyone who knows me will understand how hilarious this is 😂) the pretty muddy race for life. It is coming up to 10 years since we lost an amazing man, Jim, to cancer. Not only was he a fantastic husband to me he was a wonderful daddy, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He was just 29 years old. We will run in celebration of his life and the memories he gave us but also in the hope of raising much needed funds for cancer research. Jim’s cancer was ‘unknown primary origin’, this made it extremely difficult to treat and the dreadful disease took him from us in under 7 weeks. Please please help us raise money towards research into aggressive cancers. We will also be thinking of Jim’s dad Ken who we lost in 2011, also to cancer. This family has been torn apart by this illness  but together we remain strong. ❤️ Any donation is truly appreciated. ❤️
