Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in memory of my Dad by attempting the Welsh 3000's challenge with three of my friends.

The truly amazing staff at the Hospice provided specialist care for my Dad in his final weeks ensuring he was as comfortable as possible, as well as supporting my family through this difficult time.

The hospice rely on donations to fund their work with less than a third of their £4 million annual running costs coming from government funding. This is why I'd love to raise as much money for this fantastic cause, through donations of whatever size you're able to offer.

To complete the challenge we must summit all 15 mountains in Wales over 3000 ft in under 24 hours, without using any transport. The walk is just over 26 miles from the first summit to the last, totalling over 30 miles from start to finish.

June 15th is in the diary for now, however the challenge has involved a lot of preparation albeit a couple of injuries so it's important that it's attempted in good weather conditions. Updates to follow!

Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated and will go directly to support the outstanding care that the Hospice provides.

Thank you in advance for your support,

Laura xxx
