The four of us Rachael, Nikki F., Nikki W. and Laura are all running the Great North Run to raise money for Durham Wildlife Trust. We will be running alone (well with 49,000 others)as we have too many legs for a pantomime badger but not enough for centipede! It will be Nikki F’s first ever half marathon and she has promised to wait for us on the Tyne Bridge.

As a small, local charity, Durham Wildlife Trust relies on the support of
our members and donations. This enables them to manage nature reserves, run conservation projects, deliver environmental education activities and provide thousands of volunteering opportunities each year.

The money we raise will help make this wonderful landscape a better place both for wildlife thrive and people to enjoy.
