The Myton Hospices Walk for Myton 2017 · 14 May 2017 ·

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

On the 14th May, I will be walking 6 miles with my daughter Amber and my Uncle and his two boys, to raise money for Myton Hospice. I will be doing this walk in memory of my brother-in-law Simon who sadly passed away on the 28th March 2017. During his final days Simon was cared for by the wonderful staff at Myton, they made his final days as comfortable as possible in a home from home environment and not only gave the best care to Simon but also to the family.

The staff work incredibly hard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and nothing is ever too much trouble. I want to raise as much money as possible for the hospice, not only to give something back and help support this wonderful cause but also to provide them with the facilities they need to continue their amazing work and give more families the chance to have precious moments with their loved ones in those final days.

Thankyou for taking the time to visit my page and I appreciate the support
