DDDive for MND · 17 June 2013

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

On Sunday 17th March I ran the Fleet Half Marathon in memory of my Grandad who sadly passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in 2006. I raised over £750 for the MND Association.

Recently I was made aware that a colleague has been diagnosed with the disease, and when the opportunity came along to raise even more money for the charity, and to do something that would really help to raise awareness of the disease I couldn't say no...even if it is a 10,000 ft Sky Dive!

So as well as relying on my generous network of friends, family and colleagues to sponsor me to do the dive, I will also be doing other activities to raise money such as babysitting, baking (attempting) and even auctioning a date with my best mate! (THANK YOU KATE)

I'd like to thank you all for the support you have shown me so far during my fundraising story, and hope you will continue to be as fabulous and generous this time around!
