Story
Me and my dad are doing a 10,000ft sky dive going at 120mph on Saturday 27th August. The money going towards our charity is for a great reason. The diabetic clinics & scientists are trying their very best to make people living with diabetes better & easier. This money will go towards new technology (insulin pumps, blood monitors, blood strips & insulin pens) and more support.
As most people know my boyfriend has type 1 diabetes and seeing it first hand has made me realise how hard it actually is coping with it!
Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with diabetes. It's a serious misunderstood condition that could affect 5 million of us by 2025 if we don't do something about it.
Dealing with diabetes day after day can be really hard, especially if you're constantly reminded what could go wrong if you don't keep control.
The money that I am raising means that people with diabetes can get the information, advice and support they need. Scientists keep finding new ways to treat diabetes.
Let's prevent it & one day cure it.
