Brenda passed away on the 8th May 2013 after a valiant and brave battle against Breast cancer of thirteen years. She was my sole mate and I miss her more than anyone in this life.

I have registered this year to walk Hadrian's Wall not just in her memory but for 9 other good friends we both new who lost their battle against Cancer.  I have given myself a gruelling challenge as part of my 7B470 crusade in my 70th year. I have set my self a target way above what I have raised before so any donations will be gratefully received. .  All money raised will be going to the Macmillan Mustard Tree centre at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. The centre is there for anyone diagnosed with cancer and gives them great support during there illness .

14,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year in Devon & Cornwall and Macmillan needs to raise £1.8 Million a year to maintain its services at its present level. One in Two people will be affected by Cancer. Please donate as much as you can as some one from your own family may need its outstanding support.  Thank you  on behalf of both of us Love Laurence & Brenda xxx
