Jacobs 200000 metre lockdown run · 27 April 2020

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

My name is Jacob Scandrett. I am 10 years old and live in Weston under Wetherley in Warwickshire. I wanted to help raise money for a good cause during lockdown. My mum is a Cancer nurse and I have had family members also affected  by cancer . So I have chosen to help the Myton Hospices as I know they do a lot of good things to help people with cancer . As it must be difficult for them to fund raise in lockdown , I wanted to try and help them the best way I could with the extra time I have at the moment. Therefore I decided to set myself the challenge of running around my garden ( as you can see in the picture) 1000 times which adds up to 124 miles with each round being 200 metres. I have set the target of 10 days from today to complete this. I really hope you can help me in anyway you can . Thankyou
