Edinburgh Marathon Festival Full Marathon 2017 · 28 May 2017 ·

The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is a national resource for the NHS in Scotland, with a dedication to leading quality, research and innovation. The Golden Jubilee specialises in regional and national heart and lung services, orthopaedic procedures and ophthalmic surgery.

Story

I am running the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on 27th May with my good friend Keith Gibb. We are trying to raise some cash for the Golden Jubilee hospital in Glasgow. The money we raise will help families of those who are awaiting a heart transplant, or have had a heart transplant and are in the high dependency ward. We are doing this in memory of my Uncle James Drummond, who tragically never recovered from his transplant operation and died in January this year.
