Snowdonia Marathon 2014 · 25 October 2014 ·

We "To help a child is an honour!" to Support for Armed Forces Children etc.

Story

The sacrifices made by our armed forces over the years have been well documented and there are many charities who support our terribly wounded soldiers, sailors and airmen and rightly so. However, less well publicised is the impact of these losses and injuries on the children who's parents have been lost or incapacitated in the line of they duties.

The Forces Children's Trust works hard to provide support to children who are affected by the conflicts that we are involved in, and I want to help them continue in this work as best I can hence me running the Snowdonia Marathon in October. Please donate whatever you can to support their work and help to motivate me during my training and the run!

Please also visit their website www.forceschildrenstrust.org to find out what they do and how they do it. They have helped many children and need to keep funding levels as high as possible to continue their excellent work.

Thanks on behalf of myself and the Forces Children's Trust.
