Meet Laya

Meet Laya, a determined little girl living with an extremely rare genetic condition called UFSP2, alongside epilepsy and developmental difficulties.

Despite all the challenges she faces, Laya continues to surprise us with her strength and progress. She works incredibly hard, and for her, progress can be a new movement, a new skill or a little more independence. Every little step matters.

After seeing the progress Laya has made through intensive therapy, I want to continue giving her opportunities to become stronger, develop new skills and gain as much independence as possible.

We are raising £20,000 to help fund specialist intensive therapies, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI).

Through this page, I’ll be sharing Laya’s therapy journey, her hard work, progress and little victories, so you can see what your support is helping her achieve.
