Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON) is a devastating eye disease that causes severe loss of vision. Some patients also lose their vision from other inherited forms of blindness. You can support our research effort to develop new and better treatments by making a donation through these pages.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money to help enable research to find a cure for a rare optical disease called Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON).

http://www.lhonsociety.org/about-lhon/

This disease affects people I'm close to, particularly Brandon. Brandon lost his eyesight suddenly at the age of 17 due to this disease. Despite losing his eyesight, he has gone on to do great things in life  and plays football for the England Blind Football Team.

Any money raised will go to the research team who work so hard to try to find ways to help with cures and prevention.

Any donation no matter how small will help

Thank you
