I know not many read this section, but those who do thank you kindly.

I have set up this just giving page because on the 11/04/18 my uncle was taken very suddenly from this world! He went to work like any normal day, told his wife he loved her (unknowingly for the last time) and carried on with his day. All of a sudden he became acutely unwell. When in hospital it became evident that he was having a heart attack. Despite all the hard work of the hospital staff my Uncle unfortunately passed away.

So this year I’m going to complete a number of events in order to raise money for the BHF and all the hard work they do. Trying to find better medications and treatment.

The events I’m taking part in. 

> London Marathon - running 26.2 mile run

> 75 mile cycle sportive

> Grafman (a half Ironman triathlon 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run)

> Ironman UK (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and 26.2 mile run)

Possibly a number of other events up until the end of the year                

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
