Story

THE STORY SO FAR...

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am brand new to triathlons, but I thought why not jump straight in to the deep end... of Weymouth bay! I've been running for a few years, started road cycling last year, but I've never tried open water swimming. I have all year to get myself ready and I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Unfortunately, I lost my mother to cancer last year, but not without a long fight with lots of support from Macmillan and the NHS. Raising money for a great charity like Macmillan was a one of the main reasons I chose IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth, as well as the fact it's on my birthday.

Please donate generously and feel free to laugh at the thought of me completing a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle & 13.1 mile run!
