My beautiful husband Darren and I were planning to do this again together after taking part in 2021. Macmillan was a charity that always meant a huge amount to him. 

As most of you know, Darren passed away suddenly at the end Oct 22. (It was later found he had heart disease and suffered cardiac arrest)

The Mighty Hike Marathon from Brighton to Eastbourne is on 10th June and will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I will again be trekking across the hilly South Downs and then over the even hillier Seven Sisters cliffs and I know he will be with me, willing and cheering me on when my legs won’t move half way up the cliffs.                                

Macmillan provide physical, emotional, and practical help for people with cancer and those that look after them.                                                                                              

Donations and fund-raising make up 98% of Macmillan’s income so doing something like this is going to have a real, positive effect. Please help me to help them by donating to this crucial cause. It really doesn't matter how small:)
