Story
I'm delighted to be running the London Marathon for the Macmillan Cancer Support team.
Macmillan is a wonderful charity close to my heart after my mum passed away from Breast Cancer when I was only 4 years of age. The support from Macmillan during a traumatic time was exceptional and therefore it feels right to run on their behalf.
My wonderful Step mum, Tracey, has run two full marathons and several half marathons for Macmillan. Including the one we ran together, some 10 years ago.... (Photo in the comments, you’ll see we haven't aged a day). It’s now time for me to give it a crack!
Cancer plays a part in everyone’s life, one way or another. Charities like Macmillan do whatever it takes to help. If you can spare a penny or a pound, please donate towards an excellent cause, so that people affected can continue to get the support they need.
Thank you
Lee
