As many of you may already know, my late father had Vascular Dementia. This awful condition was never known about, my dad did things which was out of charachter but we also thought it was just down to age.

After he was actually diagnosed, infact, i actually sat in when tests were carried out and it was heartbreaking to watch. His condition deteriorated with time. I attended with my mum to "Humara Yadin" a South Asian Dementia Group where he enjoyed time with other members with a similar condition. From this, i became a Dementia Champion and have been organising the walks each year.
