London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

In late 2016 my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and sadly passed away less than 2 months later.

This came as a huge shock and was/ always will be devastating for us as a family but, with a focus on the inspiration and positivity that personified my mum, I am running the London Marathon (10 years after she ran it herself) to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Pancreatic cancer has the worst survival rate of all cancers and is incredibly difficult to detect until its too late with 80% of diagnoses being terminal.

Thank you for visiting my page and hopefully you can spare some money for this worthwhile cause.
