Story

As most of you are aware our beloved husband and father was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer in July 2016.

After 24 procedures, dozens of scans and weeks in various hospitals, he finally passed away on 6th June 2018 at The Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted.

At first, dad was apprehensive about spending his last few weeks away from home in a hospice however it was the best decision that we made. The care that dad received at the hospice was nothing short of incredible and it became a second home to us all. The staff are all angels in disguise and made sure that the last three weeks of his life and our remaining and precious time as a family was as happy and comfortable as possible.

The Hospice of St Francis rely heavily on donations to keep the establishment running and is somewhere that will always be special to us all. Should you wish to make a donation, small or big, it would be greatly appreciated.
