In the New Year I had some great news - I had been given a place in the London Marathon 2012. I am raising funds for the Anthony Nolan Trust, a most amazing organisation. I have been a registered donor for over 20 years; I was motivated by the death of a school friend and by the full recovery of another friend following a successful bone marrow transplant. I have never had the opportunity to donate my bone marrow and so now I am donating some of my time to raise money for the Trust. I hope you will feel able to dig deep and donate to this most worthy cause.
