My husband has suffered from diabetes for several years.  It has had a profound impact on his (and our) life.  He now has neuropathy (nerve damage causing no sense of feeling in his hands or feet).  This affects his balance and his ability to work with his hands.  He used to work a a professional cake decorator, however due to the lose of feeling in his fingers this is no longer possible.  I am raising money to help fund education about and research into this devastating condition.
