I'm Libby and I am taking part in the Relay for Life in Shetland on the 21/05/14 as part of the team Ultima Canis.

The Main reason I am doing this is in memory of my Mum who sadly passed away from Bowel Cancer in 2009.

In 2010 more than 324,500 people in the UK where diagnosed with cancer. 1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer not specifically you but someone you know. 889 people just today will be told the devastating news that they have cancer. We need to change those statistics! Cancer is a huge killer and we need to change that but the only way we can change that is through research! Cancer better start running because we are coming for it! Please give anything you can to help raise money for cancer research, I am doing the Relay for life as part of the #TeamUltimaCanis. We can all help beat cancer one step at a time!
