We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thank you very much for visiting my page.

I am honoured to be part of Team Bloodwise for the London Marathon 2019. I am running in memory of my uncle, John Cooney, who died in March following complications due to Lymphoma.

Sean was a Commonwealth gold medal-winning athlete (who hated running) turned amateur cyclist extraordinaire as well as life and soul of every party.

My cousin, Jemima, chose Bloodwise as the official charity of the Cooney family so that we could help fund potentially life-saving research. We know from our own experience just how much impact a bit more funding can have on pioneering treatments.
