Hi Everybody! 

“Millions of people are struggling without a reliable source of food and income to support themselves and their families. VSO works to address the barriers to social and economic independence.” - Voluntary Service Overseas. 

To help fight this issue alongside VSO, I will be travelling out to the Siaya
county in Kenya and joining a volunteered based team living there. 

I aim to firstly, help equality in the education system targetting the awareness around children with disabilities, and secondly, supply the members of the community with the skills, opportunities and support needed to live more secure, dignified lives in the money-making world, such as supporting the growth of new businesses.

VSO is an organisation that is supported by the Government's DFID programme. It reached over 1.5 million people last year alone by bringing people together to address marginalisation and poverty, giving those less fortunate than us the opportunity we ALL rightly deserve.
