When we think of letters to Santa, we think of the excited children writing to Father Christmas asking for the latest gadgets, cuddly toys or a four-legged friend to join the family. However, for over 50 life-limited children in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, their only wish to be able to stay in their own homes for Christmas. The nurses I am helping to fund will be available 24/7 over the holidays at no cost to the families. Their poorly child will have routine visits and care during this time, so parents are free to spend time with their other children, catch up with some housework or just have a moment to enjoy a hot cup of tea.
